Skills Development Training
PPRC helps clients with disabilities establish a career goal and secure job training opportunities to prepare clients for their return to the workforce, in conjunction with the Ontario Disability Support Program.
In some cases, our clients will require skills training, such as job skills training courses, unpaid work experience, on-the-job training with an employer, and specialized computer or technological training, in order to prepare for a paid placement with an employer. Such skills training will allow them to test out their abilities and interests, assess or develop work habits or skills, assess or develop work tolerance levels, and obtain current work experience, training, and/or references. Learn more about the unpaid placement opportunities (click here to visit Unpaid Placement Opportunities section) that we arrange for our clients in need of skills training.
